Kara / Office Manager – Kara first joined the Aquatic Academy family as a parent. She brought her 3 children to lessons with Coach Charyl during the early days of the Aquatic Academy. As the company grew, Kara began helping 1 or 2 days. This time and enjoyment of process and business of learning how to swim, turned into the office manager position. Don’t be alarmed if you see Kara in the water, she’s also certified in Water Safety Instruction (WSI) and Water Aerobics!
Tonya / Office Aide/Content Manager –
Krystal / Krystal started with the Aquatic Academy as a client. For nearly two years Krystal enjoyed watching her three children gain confidence in their swim abilities and progress to able swimmers under the guidance of Coach Charyl. Krystal decided to join the Office Team with the Aquatic Academy as an Office Aide as well as the dual responsibilities of Social Media Manager and Events Coordinator.
Krystal has 20 years of customer service experience. Including time with IBM and RiverKids. Krystal’s customer relations skills makes her a valuable addition to the Aquatic Academy team. Krystal says her go to moto for both her professional and personal life is “You’re as happy as you make up your mind to be! Start each day with gratitude.”
When Krystal is not vibrantly assisting Aquatic Academy clients she enjoys travelling as a “5 pack”, she loves all things Gilmore Girls and RomCom’s. She is a midwestern girl with deep southern roots who loves stalking food trucks!

Anne / Back Office Aide – Anne too joined our family as a parent. Her daughter and nephew took lessons with Coach Charyl. Anne also taught First Aid/CPR/AED with Coach Charyl. Now Anne serves as book keeper, and back office aide. Ensuring our platforms and data are efficiently used. Anne has a BS in Chemistry.
Tiana / Office Aide – Tiana graduated from Pearland High School in 2016 and is now studying microbiology at Brigham Young University with the hopes to go on to medical school and become a physician scientist. She has always enjoyed spending time in the water and with her family which consists of her parents and six siblings. She also enjoys running, reading, and playing different instruments, her favorite of which is the bagpipes. She recently returned from spending eighteen months serving as a missionary in Portugal and is English/Portuguese bilingual.
